Irish Serving Table
A truly magnificent Irish Regency period mahogany serving table of generous proportions in the manner of Mack Williams and Gibton, Dublin. The mahogany top having a raised back and hand carved decoration to the front and sides with two concealed drawers. The right hand drawer with divides for cutlery. Supported on wonderfully carved solid mahogany front legs decorated with shells and terminating in the most spectacular carved lion paw feet on rectangular shaped bases. Fitted with a well figured mahogany back board. This extremely rare and magnificent piece remains in lovely original condition. There are large castors fitted to the underside of the bases and two large handles fitted to the back which would suggest that this piece was designed for a specific space and could be moved easily when required.
